1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Stelo (the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Stelo is an AI-assisted productivity system for planning, scheduling, and reflecting on your work — including goals, projects, tasks, AI-generated daily and weekly plans, optional calendar scheduling, and optional meeting recording and transcription. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan and may change over time.

3. Your Account

• You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including by circumventing rate limits or usage quotas.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service except as permitted by law or our published API.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or record any person or meeting without the consent required by applicable law.

5. Third-Party Integrations

The Service offers optional integrations with third-party services, including Google Calendar. When you connect an integration, you authorize Stelo to access that service on your behalf within the scope you grant, and your use of that third party remains subject to its own terms. For Google Calendar, Stelo reads your busy times and writes only the focus-block events it creates; it never modifies your other events. You can disconnect any integration at any time from Settings. Stelo's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. AI-Generated Content

Stelo uses AI models to generate plans, suggestions, summaries, and transcriptions. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it, and Stelo does not provide professional advice. You retain ownership of the content you create; you grant Stelo the limited rights needed to process it to provide the Service.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

• Stelo offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Polar.sh.
• Plan limits (including AI usage and transcription quotas) apply per the plan you select.
• You may cancel at any time; access to paid features continues through the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable notice; changes take effect at your next billing period.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Stelo and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership in the Service to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stelo and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users, third parties, or us. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
